Allocated Agency Listing

News Release

Monies donated are allocated to various human services organizations and programs that directly support Pike County residents. Only about one-third of these agencies also have support from a national organization which means that the majority of our funded agencies are uniquely local or regional.

The Allocations Committee consist of local volunteers from all walks of life.  They evaluate the applications for funding and make the recommendations for funding to the United Way Board of Directors.  Members of the United Way Board and funded agencies each make up less than 25% of the Allocations Committee.  Members of the committee also abstain from specific votes which may be a conflict of interest to the member.

In addition to these allocations, the Pike United Way is also a primary service provider for other various human services programs in the county that have a direct impact in our community.
